These are the events that happened in the Spiderweb/Lyceum communities in the year 2006. Events listed in bold indicate major news.

Janurary 1st - Thuryl is a Hall of Fame nominee.
January 7th - Eighth Scenario design contest announced, deadline set for 11-30-06.
January 8th - Magus of Cattalon, by Smoo is released for Blades of Avernum.
Janurary 10th - First Spiderweb chat held.
January 14th - The Ultimate Equipment, a utility by Slith Lord, is released for Blades of Exile.
February 1st - Thuryl fails to become a Hall of Fame member.
February 14th - Second Spiderweb chat held
Feburary 19th - Third Spiderweb chat held.
February 28th - Fourth Spiderweb chat held
March 1st - Spiderweb game rating season begins, fifth Spiderweb chat held.
March 3rd - Ash Lael/Barcoorah is banned from Spiderweb for quoting Jeff out of context.
March 6th - Terror's Martyr is banned for language.
March 8th - Sixth Spiderweb chat held.
March 9th - Ash Lael's ban is lifted.
March 11th - Aaarrgghh is banned from Spiderweb for trolling.
March 16th - Terror's Martyr's ban is lifted.
March 18th - Commander Edward is banned for numerous reasons, Thuryl resigns from moderation of General, seventh Spiderweb chat held.
April 5th - Eighth Spiderweb chat held.
April 6th - Ninth Spiderweb chat held.
April 9th - Beta call made for The Final Spire.
May 1st - Bain-Ihrno and Kelandon are Hall of Fame nominees.
June 2nd - Bain and Kel fail to be HoF members, decision passed for HoF nominations to be an annual thing.
June 10th - Beta call made for Dilecia.
June 15th - Beta call made for A Good Beginning.
June 23rd - Drake Dracoli banned from the Lyceum for vulgar spam.
June 27th - The Final Spire, by Bain-Ihrno, is released for Blades of Exile.
July 1st - A Good Beginning, by Nikki is released for Blades of Avernum.
July 3rd - Beta call for Exodus made.
July 14th - Fourth Scenario Rankings Contest announced for 8-1-06
July 22nd - Dilecia by Lazarus is released for Blades of Avernum.
July 28th - WildKarrdeSmuggler banned from Spiderweb for posting Kama Sutra, resulting in deletion of Terror's Martyr's moniker thread.
August 1st - Fourth Scenario Rankings Contest begins
August 4th - Terror's Martyr is banned from Spiderweb for posting offensive images.
August 14th - WildKarrdeSmuggler's ban is lifted.
August 15th - Beta call made for Redwall: Prologue.
August 16th - Beta Call made for Echoes: Renegade.
August 18th - Archmagus Micael banned from Spiderweb for posting a download link for Geneforge 4.
August 19th - Registration becomes required to post on the Lyceum.
August 26th - Redwall: Prologue by Gizmo is released for Blades of Exile, tenth Spiderweb chat held.
August 27th - Announcement and discussion of contest rules begin.
August 29th - Terror's Martyr wins Fourth Scenario Rankings Contest.
September 1st - Beta call made for Rats Aplenty, Archmagus Micael's ban is lifted.
September 8th - Order Mage banned from Spiderweb for continuous trolling.
September 16th - Spiderweb history website goes online, Emperor Tullegolar banned from Spiderweb.
September 24th - Where the Rivers Meet, by Thralni is released.
September 25th - Rats Aplenty by Smoo is released.
September 26th - Emperor Tullegolar's ban is lifted.
September 27th - The BoA Scenario database, compiled by Tyranicus, goes online.
September 30th - Echoes: Renegade by Terror's Martyr is released!
October 20th - Contest Registration thread started.
November 2nd - XxXx banned for spamming, *I does not dignify him with 'BANNED' title.
November 10th - Beta call for Embers of Rebellion.
November 20th - Geneforge 4 is released!
November 26th - Infernal666 and Alec banned from Spiderweb for inappropriate conduct.
November 28th - Embers of Rebellion by Ephesos is released for Blades of Avernum
November 30th- Deadline for 8th Scenario Contest, and Exodus by Kelandon is released for Blades of Avernum.
December 1st - Judging Assignments and Instructions made, entries finalized!
December 10th - Infernal 666 and Alec to be unbanned.
December 16th - Best Utility to be announced.
December 23rd - Best Large, Small, and Newcomer to be announced
