Yep, it's ANOTHER Blades of Exile scenario....
Okay: There's lots of backstory, so this is introduced largely at the beginning of the game. Something I think you should know: This scenario is a sequel to a scenario that does not exist. Why is that? Because the scenario was going to exist, and it crashed when I nearly completed it. If you want to know how it crashed (sorry AC fans), it crashed when I unzipped AC3 - I was working on the scenario while waiting for AC3 to download, and apparently there was a corrupted file in the download, and the virus spread into the scenario.
Anyway, here's what's going on: You play as a girl named Ulrike. You are feeling lost, confused, and hopeless. You try not to sleep, but you are so tired you can't help it. You have flashbacks of the past to the events that led up to your current peril. After waking up, you wonder: what ARE you going to do?
This scenario is a linear run-through, like An Apology or Echoes: Assault. It has some puzzles and fights, as well as some towns to explore. With the exception of the fact that Nephilim, Slithzerikai, and Vahnatai are included, there are no ties to the Exile storyline in this scenario.
Be warned: this scenario is pretty challenging, and is not for the newbie BoE player. It is also VERY important to read the readme before playing the scenario! Failure to do so may result in the scenario being unwinnable! It is rated PG, took 7th Place in the 8th Contest, and was released on June 27th, 2006.
